Justine Waldman is an American Anchor/Reporter working for KRON4 News in San Francisco Bay Area where she serves the station as a Weekday Evening Anchor for the 3 PM Newscasts. She has been working with the station since March 2011.
Justine Waldman Education
Waldman is a proud graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. There she studied between 1999 and 2003 and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism. While at the University she was on the Dean’s list, a Greek System President, and a Newhouse Ambassador. There, she was also privileged to receive some honors.

Waldman works for KRON4 News where she serves the station as an Evening Anchor. She states that she desired to be a journalist since she was a little kid. While working at KRON4 News, she has been privileged to make all her news dreams come true, especially since launching KRON4 News at 3 PM which she anchors weekly. During the weekends, she also anchors the KRON4 News at 6 PM in Prime Time at 8 PM, 9 PM, and 10 PM.
Waldman has covered some incredible stories in the Bay Area since joining KRON4 in the year 2011. Among her most memorable stories include the closing of the new span of the Bay Bridge, hosting KRON4’s big New Year’s Eve show, the coronavirus pandemic, Super Bowl 50 when SF Bat Kid saved the city, the devastating North Bay wildfires, the opening, and hosting KRON4’s big New Year’s Eve show.
She, however, states that her best stories come from viewers who need help or a shoulder to cry on. Justine has taken pride in telling compelling, compassionate, and clear stories that evoke emotion and action. Prior to joining the KRON4 News team, she was working as a reporter for 7 NEWS, WHDH-TV in Boston, MA. There, she served the station between January 2010 and March 2011.
She has also previously worked for WCAU NBC 10 News in Philadelphia where she worked for the station in 2009 for less than a year. This is in addition to working for WFTX FOX 4 in Fort Myers, Florida. There, she served the station as an Anchor and Reporter between 2006 and 2009. Asides from this, she has worked for WKTV NewsChannel 2 where she was serving the station as an Anchor and Reporter between 2003 and 2006.

She states that becoming a mother is the best thing that has ever happened to her. Justine further states that even though she works late, she is usually up early doing Zoom school and taking her two kids to all the parks and beaches(and bakeries) the Bay Area has to offer.
