Catherine Patterson is an American Anchor/Multimedia journalist working for WBRC News where she serves the station as an Evening Anchor/Multimedia Journalist. There, he anchors the Evening News at 9, 9:30, and 10 PM weekly. She has been working with the station since February 2018.

Catherine’s journalism career began at WALB News 10, a sister station in Albany, Ga. During her three years covering south Georgia, she was a weekday and weekend anchor for the evening newscasts, a multimedia journalist, and a reporter for the morning show. In addition, Catherine served as the Bureau Chief for the station’s Thomasville Bureau, located one hour south of Albany.

Asides from that, she has also served as an Ambassador of UGA’s Grady College of Journalism. This is in addition to working as a multimedia journalist for Grady Newsource, a local news broadcast for northeast Georgia.
The Atlanta native, Catherine, is happy to have joined the WBRC team and experience the many wonderful attributes of Birmingham’s Magic City. She is also proud to be a recipient of the Gabby Award. Asides from that, she is a lover of music and animals and loves traveling and sharing good times with her family and friends. She is also a self-proclaimed foodie at heart.
