Morgan is a weekday morning anchor for WJAX who had previously worked for other stations prior to joining WJAX. Previously, she worked for the CBS station in Charlotte, North Carolina where she served as a reporter and an anchor. Her love for a TV career started when she was still a young girl and for her, it is a dream come true.
Morgan had also worked for the ABC/FOX station in Columbus, Georgia where she served as a reporter and an anchor prior to working in Charlotte. She was an intern at Action News Jax sister station, WSB-TV, in Atlanta, and is also a Disney mega-fan and adores all that has to do with Disney. Morgan attained her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2016 from the University of Mississippi.
Morgan has also managed to win several awards ever since she started her career in journalism including four Emmy nominations for her work. Her skills in journalism have made it possible for her to cover interesting stories like local deputies who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect the community and the deadly mass shooting on the UNC Charlotte campus. She has also managed to attain quite a good number of Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas awards, including TV News Reporter of the Year.
Morgan enjoys spending time with her fiancé, being at the beach looking for sea glass, and the outdoor activities. Additionally, she also has a spunky dog by the name of Kiki and enjoys spending most of her free time with her Kki.
