Dan Hicken is an American sports journalist working for WJAX serving as a sports anchor. He joined the station in June 2013.

Hicken had previously worked for a local station for 27 long years. He also works for 1010XL and 92.5 FM where he hosts a weekday radio program from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, berating referees, and being at a local ball field questioning umpires.
Hicken attended the University of Florida where he graduated. His love and passion for sports began when he was still a young boy and he used to play sports in his childhood growing up in Miami.
Hickens was nonetheless awarded and gifted several times and this fueled his love for sports. Hicken was announced to be an honorable mention all-county in water polo while he was still a senior at Miami Sunset. He was also known to be the dubious distinction of being kicked out of the National Honor Society. Hicken also has a history of being a quarterback in a media team to a flag football semifinals game and played in a professional basketball game where he went 0-5 from the field.

Her first marriage was with Kevin Clewis in Tallahassee in 1983 and later on divorced and was married for the second time by Hicken who later on divorced. Deegan then got married for the third time to First Coast News Chief meteorologist Tim Deegan in 2002.
Donna is from a Lebanese-Syrian family and is also the founder of The Donna Foundation. The foundation provides the necessary funds and assistance to care for local women living with breast cancer. She has dedicated her time, efforts, soul, and everything ever since she started battling cancer in 1999.
