Channing Curtis is an American Anchor/Reporter working with KREM 2 News where she serves the station as a Reporter and co-anchor for Up With KREM every weekday. She has been working with KREM 2 News since July 2021.

She graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Boston University. While in Boston, she worked as a news apprentice at CBS Boston, where she collaborated with producers to write scripts for evening shows and produce mid-day and web cut-ins.

Curtis works with KREM News where she serves the station as a Reporter and co-anchor. Prior to joining KREM 2 News in Inland Northwest, she was working as an evening anchor at CBS 19 in Tyler, Texas. While there, she also reported on the devastating tornados in Alto and Canton, the historic name changes of two Tyler ISD high schools, and countless “Black Lives Matter” protests.
Previously, she was also working with KMID located in Odessa, Texas where she was serving the station as a morning co-anchor for the Good Morning Basin Show. While she was living and studying in Boston, she was working with CBS Boston as a news apprentice. Additionally, she also worked with producers writing scripts for the evening shows and also producing the mid-day and web cut-ins.
Prior to that, she also moved to the news desk where she was working as a sports reporter and analyst. Asides from this, she did color commentary for the Boston University women’s basketball team and served as a sideline reporter for high school football and basketball.
She is a proud Dallas, Texas native and likes most Dallas residents. Asides from that she also loves football and great food. Away from work, she enjoys trying local restaurants and wineries, exploring new homes in the Inland Northwest, and watching sports.
