Chase Houle is an American journalist working for WTHR as a reporter since joining the station in September 2023. Previously, he worked for 13WHAM ABC in Rochester, New York as a news reporter and fill-in anchor for nearly 2 years.

Houle joined Columbia College Chicago in 2012 when he finished his high school education. In 2016, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. While in college, he was an intern at ABC 7 and a personal clothing stylist.

Before his time in New York, he worked as a statewide reporter and weekend anchor in Champaign, Illinois.
During his time in Champaign, Houle did a story of how to safeguard a home after a break-in with a three-inch screw. The story earned him a Silver Dome Award. Moreover, he extensively broadcasted the vanishing of an ISU graduate and was the first to interview his family. This story launched him into the national spotlight.
