She worked as part of “Matt, Jay, and Cherish.” Following this, she caught the attention of the News Director at a local TV station and thus she began delivering traffic reports for the station. Later, she was hired to work as a general assignment reporter in 2008.
In 2010, she earned a promotion to serve as the initial host of the station’s new lifestyle and entertainment program, Studio 10. Four years later, she left the station for an anchoring role in Nashville, Tennessee.
During her time there, she served among the city’s hugest breaking news stories that made nationwide headlines. For instance, she broadcasted the apprehension of the Waffle House shooter and the departure of Nashville’s former Mayor.
She served as a field anchor during the Nashville Predators’ Road to the Stanley Cup. During CMA Fest, she worked with the Property Brothers, Luke Bryan, and Hayley Orrantia among others. Additionally, she served as a host of the CMA Awards after-party live for the past two years.
As host, she interviewed some of the hugest names in the Country Music industry including Little Big Town, Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, and Chris Stapleton. Further, she has worked with various charitable organizations.
For instance, she has worked with numerous animal rescues, the American Cancer Society, Read Across America at various schools, Girl Scouts of America, Boy Scouts, Susan G Komen, the March of Dimes, the American Heart Association, and Prevent Child Abuse America.
