Chris Demirdjian is an American News Anchor working for KSLA News 12 serving as an evening anchor and sports director. He joined the station in March 2014, after previously working as an evening anchor and sports director at KTVE News in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Chris Demirdjian Education
Demirdjian completed his high school education at Culver City High School before later attending LSU Shreveport in 2010 where he learned Kinesiology and Exercise Science and graduated in 2014. While at LSU-Shreveport, Chris worked as an announcer for LSUS Pilots Baseball games. He also provided radio feature stories and conducted interviews with several athletes. Besides this, Chris is also the treasurer founder of Kappa Sigma Golf Tournament, and a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

Demirdjian serves as a sports director at KSLA News 12 and before working as a sports director he worked behind the scenes at KSLA News 12 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Prior to working at KSLA News, Chris served as an evening anchor and sports director at KTVE News in West Monroe, Louisiana. Chris joined the station in July 2015 where he anchored a 30-minute college and high school sports show, “The Kickoff”. He also edited his own stories and created daily content for sports shows as well as operated cameras in the field.
Previously, Chris worked as an assistant production and sports reporter at Raycom Media where he worked from February 2014 to July 2015. While there, he was in charge of various roles such as editing daily content, shooting, and writing stories for the sports department. Before joining Raycom Media, Chris worked for Townsquare Media as a disc jockey. During his time at Townsquare Media, he was responsible for providing website content and delivering daily sports reports. He also assisted in the production of various shows such as the Tim Fletcher Sports Radio Show and the Bob Griffin Radio Show.
Demirdjian began his broadcasting career working as a Holladay broadcaster at The Radio People from April 2010 to July 2010. Aside from working as a journalist, he worked for Lee Hedges Stadium in the Parish of Caddo from July 2011 to November 2013. Before joining Lee Hedges Stadium, Chris worked at Southern Baseball Club where he served as a Shreveport Bossier Captain from April 2011 to September 2011.
