Claudine Ewing is an American Emmy award-winning journalist working for WGRZ serving as a reporter as well as a fill-in anchor. She has been working for the station since September 1998.

Ewing serves as a reporter as well as a fill-in anchor at WGRZ in Buffalo, New York. She has also managed to win quite a number of awards ever since she started her career in journalism. Some of these awards include an Emmy award and the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Award in 2018 for a story on Refugees. Prior to this award, she received an award in 2017 for a story on a child she followed from a premature birth until she graduated from high school, by the name Preemie goes to College.

Furthermore, she received the New York State Associated Press for General Excellence in Individual Reporting in 2015. Prior to this award, she was awarded the national award from the NABJ for a sports story The Smart Football Scholar in 2014. This award was for the story she did on the rise of Penn State graduate John Urschel who is now in the NFL. In addition to that, she was also nominated for New York State Emmy Awards due to her unquestionable talent in journalism.

Ewing has several memorable stories that she still remembers including the revealing to the world that there was a female limbo performer worthy of the Guinness Record. This story assisted in making a young girl’s dream come true something that she will never forget. She is also a very active member of The TEGNA Foundation and For Our Daughters. She is also serving on the Buffalo State College Alumni Association Board. In 2004, she received her honor with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s “Outstanding Community Service Award”.
