Cody Bailey is an American meteorologist working for WEHT/WTVW as a meteorologist and multimedia journalist since joining the station in November 2021. Previously, he worked for WNKY in Bowling Green as a meteorologist for 3 years.

Bailey joined Ball State University in 2011 when he finished his education at Southridge High School. In 2015, he graduated with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Meteorology and Climatology. During college, he served the campus radio station, WCRD, and television station, NewsLink Indiana. He was a member of the Ball State Storm Chase Team and interned at Eyewitness News in 2014.

For as long as he can remember, he has been fascinated by the weather, specifically broadcast meteorology. He often mimicked local TV meteorologists. The ruinous tornado in Evansville on November 6, 2005, further pushed him toward a career in meteorology.
