Cole Sams is an American journalist working for KIFI as a weekend sports anchor and news reporter since October 2021. He joined the station in August 2021 as a weekday news reporter. Previously, he served WJHL in Johnson City, Tennessee as a sports intern.

Sams joined Davidson College in 2015 when he finished his high school education. In 2017, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English. There, he was an Offensive Tackle for the Football Program (2015 to 2016) and a Women’s Basketball Program Assistant (2015 to 2016, 2016 to 2017).
