Amarillo, Texas is her native home and in 2013, she studied Ethics at George Mason University. Later in 2010, she joined Oklahoma State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in multimedia journalism in 2014. She started her career in January 2011, at GoPokes.com where she served as a sports reporter however, she left in May 2013. Later on, she worked at Radio America as a broadcast and productions intern for a period of three months.
In addition, she has also worked at the Spears School of Business where she was a communication specialist assistant for 2 years. Prior to joining the KJRH team in January 2016, she worked at NewsChannel 10 where she served as a weekend anchor and reporter for almost 2 years. While working at KJRH, she has served as a crime and investigative reporter, weekend news anchor, and currently morning news anchor.
