D.J. Quicksilva is an American DJ, radio host, and reality television personality. He is a cast on the first season of Love & Marriage: DC. He is best known as QuickSilva on DC’s The Russ Parr Morning Show where he works from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Quicksilva has worked on-air at radio stations such as WKYS 93.9, X105.7, 92Q, and V-103. He has also worked as the official national DJ for urban retailer DTLR and as the brand ambassador for Ciroc vodka. The Source Magazine named him the number 1 DJ in DC and the number 12 DJ in the country out of the top 30 DJs in the United States. In addition, his interest to become a DJ began when he was ten years old after he watched the 1980s film Beat Street.
At the Mix Show Power Summit, he was named the East Coast DJ of the Year. He was also voted as the most popular DJ in DC and the best radio and club DJ for 6 consecutive years. Quicksilva has also been named the National Club DJ of the year and the Global Spin Award’s Break Through DJ. Furthermore, he is the personal DJ for NFL legend Ray Lewis Quicksilva. Quick is not only a DJ, he is also the owner of Club DownTown Bmore and Baltimore’s Premier Nightclub. He is also the brand ambassador for Ciroc vodka and is the official national DJ for urban shop DTLR. During his leisure time, he volunteers in the community and is a motivational speaker.
Furthermore, he has deejayed for ultimate VIPs such as Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx, Lil’ Mo, Common, LL Cool J, Stevie Wonder, and Bob Johnsons’ Grand Opening of the BET Soundstage in Turks & Caicos. He has also been among the official DJs on some of the biggest international and national tours and events. In addition, he has had the pleasure be an opening DJ for national events such as the NFL Superbowl activities, the Annual CIAA Weekend, and The NBA All-Star Weekend. Quicksilva was called upon in 2013, to deejay for President Barack Obama’s Second Term Inaugural Ball. He has also served as an official DJ for Jamaica’s Red Stripe Beer, Sean Combs.
