Dan Bowens is an American journalist working for FOX 5 New York as a weekday co-host of Good Day Wakeup from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. Also, he serves the station as a reporter. He joined the station in February 2019 as a weekend anchor at 6 and 10 p.m. Previously, he worked for WRAL in Raleigh and WINK in Fort Myers, Florida.

There, he was bureau chief in Charlotte County. He tracked and reported several major Hurricanes including Katrina, Charley, and Ivan.
Also, he is an active member of the community and he has thus volunteered his time at schools and other community organizations. Moreover, he is a member of the Selection Committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex, Hudson, and Union Counties.
