Danielle (Wagner) Wiggins is an American Emmy-award-winning journalist working for WKYC serving as the anchor of the GO! morning show. She rejoined the station in September 2013.

Wiggins works at WKYC, where she serves as a Multi-platform Anchor for the GO! the morning show, reports traffic, and also trending news. Moreover, she hosts digital content on W2KYC’s multiple online platforms and contributes to enterprise reports of the different newscasts. In 2018 she was awarded a regional Emmy Award by the National Association of Black Journalists. Additionally, Danielle won a salute to Excellence Award for a “Rising ” episode that told the story of a teen story, who was born with cerebral palsy but still pursued his dream of playing organized basketball.
Prior to joining WKYC, Wiggins served as the main producer and a correspondent for “The Regina Brett Show” on 89,.7 WKSU, Northeast, Ohio’s regional NPR affiliate. In addition to that, the show won multiple state as well as national awards under her leadership. The awards include an Ohio Excellence in Journalism award for the best radio show.
Before that, Danielle worked for WEWS-TV in Cleveland/Akron, Ohio Area where she served as an Associate Producer from March 2005 to September 2006. While at the station she wrote stories, anchored packages, and interviewed segments for multiple newscasts using ENPS computer software. Additionally, she produced an afternoon webcast for newsnet5.com.
Furthermore, Danielle served as a Production Assistant at WOIO/WUAB in Cleveland/Akron, Ohio Area for eight months. While at the station, she wrote for newscasts and weekend promotions using ENPS computer software. Moreover, Wiggins assisted producers with the production of shows. Additionally, she operated a graphics machine and teleprompter. Furthermore, she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority, inc. as well as the National Association of Black journalists.
She is also a leader in her church, where she focuses on serving the needs of women in Northeast Ohio. On her educational background, Wiggins graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Kent sent University. Additionally, Danielle enrolled for a master’s degree at the same University in 2007. In 2009 she earned her Master’s degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management.

Danielle went on to say that, the doctor said that test results show no need for chemotherapy in her breast cancer treatment plan. On her Facebook account, she wrote, “Praise God that the weapon formed against me did not have a chance to prosper.”
