Dawson Rule is an American journalist working for WNCT as a reporter and multimedia journalist since joining the station in August 2024. Previously, he was a part-time associate at Wallingford Media Group in Richmond, Kentucky, for 3 years.

Rule joined Eastern Kentucky University in 2018 after finishing his high school education. In May 2023, he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Electronic Media. While in college, he broadcast EKU Athletics as a student reporter.
