Debbie Knox is a retired American journalist who previously worked for CBS4 Indy as a news anchor since joining the station in December 2014 till her retirement. She retired in November 2023 after working in the news industry for more than 40 years where 33 were spent at WISH. She delivered her last newscast on November 29, 2023, at 11 p.m.

Knox started her career at WISH-TV on the noon news and was then elevated to early anchor, coming from stations in the northern Indiana communities of Elkhart and South Bend. She worked as the station’s 24-Hour News 8’s lead TV journalist and also anchored the 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m. newscasts. There, she anchored and reported for 33 years and retired in November 2013. Six times, she received the title of Favorite Female TV News Anchor from Indianapolis Woman Magazine. The Associated Press recently inducted her into its Broadcast Hall of Fame. Governor Mike Pence chose her as a Distinguished Hoosier and in 2014 was an honoree of the Girls Inc. In 1972, she was crowned Miss Edwardsburg and Miss Blossomtime. Central Indiana awarded her for documenting her 60-pound weight loss.
