Diana Castillo is an American journalist who serves as the News Director and 5 p.m. news Anchor at KMEG. She was born in Los Angeles and raised in Upland, California. Castillo obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of La Verne.

Diana was the News Director/Anchor for Laredo Fox News and Univision Laredo in Laredo, Texas, before joining the Siouxland News team. In April 2012, she was hired to debut the Fox Newscast in the Laredo market. She was the anchor and executive producer for Univision KORO 28 in Corpus Christi, Texas, before coming to Laredo. She was the anchor/producer for Southern California Life Morning News before going to Texas.

Diana is a great basketball enthusiast, and the Los Angeles Lakers are her favorite team. She has been playing basketball since she was in fifth grade and continues to do so whenever she gets the chance (you can find her at the Four Seasons gym in Downtown Sioux City on most weekends playing).
