Dom Tiberi is an American Emmy award-winning Anchor/Host/Reporter working with 10TV News/WBNS-TV where he serves the station as a weekday Sports Anchor and co-host of Wall-to-Wall Sports airing at 11:30 PM. He has been working with the station since the year 1981.

He attended St. Francis DeSales High School where he graduated proudly and later on attended Otterbein College in Westerville, where he graduated with majors in Journalism and Public Relations. While he was in Otterbein, he has actively involved in his college radio and TV stations as well as a member of the football team.

While she wasn’t texting, drinking, or eating at the time of the crash, the official cause was attributed to ‘distracted driving.’ In February of 2014, Tiberi, and WBNS-10TV, launched “Maria’s Message,” a public service campaign created to educate teens about distracted driving.
He takes the campaign and his message into area high schools telling the students what happened the night of the tragic crash and encouraging defensive driving. The powerful presentation ends with students reciting “Maria’s Pledge,” and signing Maria’s Message pledge card.
His efforts coupled with the support of Ohio Senator, Jim Hughes, have secured legislation making September “Sage Driving Month” in Ohio. This is usually in memory of Maria Tiberi and all those who lost their lives during distracted driving accidents. Governor Kasich signed the legislation into law in June of the year 2014.
