Buckingham is a sports anchor and reporter who is on air from 10 am-1 pm. He had worked with other stations prior to joining KFOR. For instance, he previously worked for KFDA-TV where he served as a weekend sports anchor as well as a co-host of the radio show “Sports 360.” Prior to KFDA, he had also worked for KUCO-TV and served as a sports director, host of “The Huddle” and managed to attain several awards Best Sports Story and best TV/Magazine Show for his work on “The Huddle.”
Buckingham made up his mind on becoming a sports reporter when he was 13 years old after realizing he would never be able to play sports professionally. He loves everything that has to do with sports and seems like his son has made his dream come true because he is also a huge sports fan. He admits that his favorite sports teams are the Packers, Bruins, Celtics, and Red Sox. Buckingham attained her degree in Communications from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Buckingham loves and enjoys spending time with his wife, and their dog, Piper. He enjoys spending his time with friends and relatives whenever he is not working. He is very active on his social media pages including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
