Eric Jeansonne is an American journalist who serves as a Meteorologist at WLOX, the affiliate of ABC and CBS licensed to Biloxi, Mississippi, United States, and serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Jeansonne grew his fascination with the weather after a hurricane happened in his hometown at a young age on his first day of kindergarten.

Jeansonne attended the University of Oklahoma pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a minor in Broadcast Journalism. He interned at CNN in Atlanta, Georgia from May to August 2009. There, she served as an assistant weather producer for national and international weather hits. Jeansonne contributed research for on-air coverage of the Air France Flight 447 crash.
He was also a weather Intern at KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City, OK from December 2010 to December 2012.

Jeansonne began his professional weather career at KFDX Channel 3 in Wichita Falls, Texas in December 2012. There, he delivered on-air forecasts, severe weather cut-ins, storm chasing, and wall-to-wall severe weather coverage. She was a fill-in for the morning and evening newscasts regularly.
During his time at KFDX, he made coverage of almost a dozen tornadoes that were reported in Wichita including a mile-wide EF-3 tornado. He then went ahead to stay on the air for five continuous hours warning viewers of the dangerous storms.
Jeansonne joined WLOX-TV ABC CBS Bounce in Biloxi, Mississippi Area as a meteorologist in December 2016.
