Erin Ivory is an American Emmy award-winning reporter, She has been working as a WGN-TV journalist since joining in April 2011. After a long time waking up early as part of the WGN Morning News team, she has returned to her reporting roots as WGN Evening News features reporter.
She enjoys her new role, getting to thoughtfully share the stories of everyday people doing amazing and good things all over Chicagoland. Ivory attended Columbia College in Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Before landing at WGN-TV, She circled a 90-mile radius around Chicago, working as a news reporter and anchor in Milwaukee, South Bend, and Rockford. Prior to all that, she used to enjoy camping, running, travel adventures, and triathlons. In the interim Ivory is living on a glorious mix of coffee and chaos…and says she wouldn’t have it any other way.
