Ethan Rosuck Biography
Ethan Rosuck is an American certified Meteorologist currently working as First at 4 and Weekend Meteorologist at WIFR – TV in Rockford, Illinois. He joined the station in September 2018.
Ethan Rosuck Career
During that internship, he learned the ins and outs of being a broadcast meteorologist and working in a full-fledged newsroom. Fortunately, time was on his side, and he was hired full-time as the Weekend Meteorologist in September 2018. Ethan can be seen presenting the latest forecast on 23 News First at 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and Friday at 4, 5, 6, and 10 p.m., as well as on 23 News Weekend on Saturday.
Visits to ABC7 and WGN introduced him to meteorologists Jerry Taft and Tom Skilling, sparking his interest in the weather. Ethan attended Ball State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology and Climatology, as well as a minor in Telecommunications Sales and Promotion. He worked as a weather forecaster for the college news station NewsLink Indiana and the college radio station WCRD 91.3 FM while at Ball State. During his senior year at WCRD, he was promoted to Chief Weather Forecaster. In the summer of 2017, Ethan interned at WIFR under Chief Meteorologist Mark Henderson and then Weekend Meteorologist Andrew Stutzke.
