He received his education at Howard University from 2015 to 2018 where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. There, he was on the 2017 Commissioners MEAC All-Academic Football Team and 2016 MEAC All-Academic Football Team. At the university, he played wide receiver. From September 2019 to February 2021, he was a Student Sports Reporter at Northwestern University. There, he reported on various NBA All-Star Weekend events as well as participated in NBA businesses and marketing meetings, among other roles.
From April 2020 to December 2020, he worked for The Draft Network as a Media Manager and Podcast producer. In that role, he oversaw interns for the station’s social media platforms and marketing. He then was a Sports Writer at the Hilltop Newspaper while at Howard University from December 2016 to December 2018. From January 2018 to March 2018, he was a Sports Production Intern for NBC Sports Washington. During his time there, he assisted in editorial coverage and game logging for Washington Wizards and Capitals.
Prior to that, he was a Co-Host and Sports Anchor at DKN Sports from May 2017 to August 2017. There, he was an official co-host and color commentator for the local youth football league and a sports anchor and reporter for the local high school league. He was then a Sports Intern for Fox News from May 2016 to August 2016. In that role, he covered sports stories with sports anchors Bruce Cunningham and Morgan Adsit. Also, he shot and edited video and sound clips for the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles.
