Schultz joined Butler University in 2012 and in 2016 graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and minors in Digital Media and Spanish. While in college, she was a news intern at WISH, WLFI, and WTHR. She also worked at The Butler Collegian as the video and audio editor.

Previously, Schultz worked as an anchor, reporter, and producer in Montana for 4 years. In Montana, she served KTVH as a reporter, anchor, and producer for two years and KFBB ABC FOX Montana for two years as a reporter. At KTVH, she broadcasted a presidential run, wildfires, and lots of cows.
When she was 10 years old, Schultz created a family newspaper and ultimately joined her high school’s live morning show, “The Olympian Flame.” She later discovered that people earned money for doing this and realized her dream 10 years later. She is excited to share Lexington’s stories and live in the region.
