Gabrielle Komorowski Biography
Gabrielle Komorowski is an American journalist working for WYFF News 4 as co-anchor of WYFF News 4 at 4 and 4:30 p.m. alongside Jane Robelot. She joined the station in September 2010 and has served the station for more than a decade. Previously, she worked for WPTZ serving the Burlington, Vermont/ Plattsburgh, New York region as a news anchor and reporter.

Komorowski joined Elon University in North Carolina in 2004 when she finished her high school education. In 2004, she graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Broadcast Communications and a French minor. While in college, she studied abroad at the Sorbonne University in Paris for a semester.

Komorowski has won several awards for her work including an Emmy and a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Feature Reporting. The Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas granted her first place award for Feature Reporting. In addition, she won Best Investigative Report and Best Feature Report awards from the South Carolina Broadcasters Association. The New York State Associated Press awarded her for Best Feature Reporting.
Komorowski became a Riley Fellow for participating in the Riley Institute at Furman University’s Diversity Leaders Initiative. Her TV news career began when she worked at KEYC in Mankato, Minnesota. There, she was a weekend anchor, reporter, and a “one-man band.” As a one-man band, she shot, wrote, and edited stories, and produced and anchored newscasts.
