He has covered everything from crime, weather, scandal, and politics throughout his career. He traveled to Kandahar in the fall of 2014. While there, he reported and shot an hour-long documentary about the end of the United States’ involvement in the war in Afghanistan.

A few hours after her birth, Lanie had some trouble breathing and she was closely monitored by the medical team. “She spent a few days under the expert watch of the Special Care Nursery at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, to whom her parents will be eternally grateful, before coming home on Saturday,” Haake said.
