Clark joined Troy University in July 2018 after finishing her high school education. In December 2022, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. While in college, she worked toward a career in politics.

As a senior, Clark took an interviewing course taught by a seasoned Alabama broadcaster, who mentored her and helped nurture her passion for journalism. She then spent the following year anchoring and reporting for TROY TrojanVision News, the on-campus news station. Also, she worked as a writer for The Tropolitan, the campus newspaper. Moreover, she immersed herself in Troy’s journalism department.
