Grant Carlton Biography
Grant Carlton is an American meteorologist working for WCTI as the meteorologist since joining the station in September 2022. Previously, he worked as a server at Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Carlton joined Millersville University of Pennsylvania in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 2015 when he finished his high school education. In 2020, he graduated with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Meteorology. During college, he was involved with student leadership organizations and activities.
Carlton was the president of the school’s American Meteorology Society Chapter. In this role, he met numerous people across the field of meteorology and learned about the broad methods weather affects businesses and communities.
Carlton loved performing music and participating in Orientation & New-Student programs. Additionally, he was an executive producer for Millersville Weather Watch and a student researcher at Millersville University Department of Meteorology. He was also a meteorology intern at WGAL 8 in News Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Carlton works for WCTI as a meteorologist. His meteorology career began in Eastern North Carolina. He loves marine/tropical weather and is thrilled to see the ever-changing weather that living in Eastern North Carolina can bring.
His passion for weather began when he was a young kid with an illogical fear that a tornado would come every time it started to rain. After overpowering that fear, he now has a fascination for the dynamic atmosphere in Eastern North Carolina and loves forecasting to protect all communities.
