Grant Dade is an American Meteorologist working for KFVS-TV in Cape Girardeau serving as a chief meteorologist. Previously, he worked as a morning and midday meteorologist at KLTV in Tyler, Texas.

After completing high school, Grant attended Auburn University where he majored in construction management. He later furthered his studies at Mississippi State University where he obtained a degree in Broadcast Meteorology Program.

He is the third chief meteorologist to work for KFVS-TV for so long following the former legends footsteps of Bob Reeves and Don McNeely. Previously, Grant served as a morning and midday meteorologist at KLTV in Tyler, Texas. During his time at KLTV, he was nominated by the Texas Associated Press of Broadcasters in 2012 and 2010 for the “Best Weathercast”. Besides this, Dade also began his storm-chasing campaign using his car where he gathered news.
Grant has covered hundreds of weather events and has traveled all over the country in coverage of news. His passion for weather emerged when he witnessed a softball-sized hail storm. Dade started his career at WOAY-TV in Oak Hill, West Virginia where he served as a midday and morning meteorologist. He served the station for months where he covered high-profile weather events including hurricanes, winter, and floods.
Aside from working as a journalist, Grant also worked as a restaurant manager a role he served for 15 years. While there, he supervised several restaurant chains such as Texas Roadhouse, Chili, and Copeland. While at Texas Roadhouse, he served as a managing partner before later changing his career path to Journalism.
