Jackson was tagged by NBC as its chief White House correspondent in January 2017. That same year, she also publicized that she would transition time slots and anchor MSNBC’s 10:00 a.m. hour. Her role was changed on September 20, 2021, and started moving to the 3 p.m. hour of MSNBC Live. She started hosting Hallie Jackson NOW on NBC News on November 17 2021 which is aired from Monday to Friday at 5 p.m. ET.
