Hannah Dineen Biography

Hannah Dineen is an American reporter/anchor working for WTSP-TV as a weeknight reporter. She joined the WTSP-TV team in January 2022, after previously working at NEWS CENTER Maine where she was a multimedia journalist.

While growing up, she moved around Canada and the United States with her family and she considers New England as her home. Hannah attended Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire where she graduated in 2013 and later studied at Colby College in Maine where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and government. While she studied at Colby College, she also played on the Women’s Ice Hockey Team.

Prior to Dineen joining WTSP-TV, she worked at NEWS CENTER Maine, based in Portland, Maine where she was an anchor and reporter, telling a range of stories across the state. She focused on government and business, and never missed the opportunity to cover interesting local stories.

A number of the local stories she covered were; about students who rode snowmobiles to school, competitive sled dog racing, and the world record for the longest continuous Moose call. During her spare time, she enjoys exploring her new home, visiting every beach in Saint Petersburg and Clearwater, and trying out her neighborhood restaurants and breweries.
