Hannah Evans Biography
Evans is an American Meteorologist working with WKTV NewsChannel 2 in Utica, New York where she serves the station as a Morning and Noon Meteorologist. She has been working with the WKTV News team since July 2021 when she joined the station as a Weekend Meteorologist.
Hannah Evans Education
The Philadelphia area native is a proud graduate of Pennsylvania State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences. During her four-year course between 2017 and 2021, she was participating in the Campus Weather Service. Asides from this, she was also a member of the ski club and the Alpha Phi Sorority. Asides from this, she was also hosting the “Weather or Not” TV Show.

Evans works with the StormTracker 2 weather team where she serves the station as a Meteorologist. She joined the station working as a Weekend Meteorologist before switching roles to morning and noon meteorologist in December 2021. Prior to joining the WKTV team, she was working with the Center County Report where she served as a Meteorologist at the WPSU Center County Report. There, she worked between March 2021 and July 2021. Asides from this, she has also worked with GIANT Food Stores, LLC in Broomall, Pennsylvania. There, she was serving as a Giant Direct Shopper. She served the team between April 2020 and July 2021.
Besides this, she has worked as a Mail Clerk at Penn State Commons Desk Operations in University Park, Pennsylvania. She served on this team between September 2018 and July 2021. This is in addition to working with the Campus Weather Service between August 2018 and July 2021.
During her time working at Penn State, she was involved in two student-run television shows and numerous weather clubs. She loves being outdoors and working out. Hannah has previously served as captain of a state-winning cross country team in high school and has run in two half marathons. She states that she always enjoys going to the gym, skiing, shopping, being with friends, and cooking.
