Isaac Williams Biography
Isaac Williams is an American meteorologist working for WCBI as the chief meteorologist since rejoining the station in August 2021. This serves as his second stint with the station, previously serving the station from 2014 to early 2017. Sicne August 2014, he has worked as an instructor at Mississippi State University.
Isaac Williams Education
Williams joined the University of Alabama in 2008 when he finished his high school education. In 2012, he graduated with a Bachelor Of Science degree in Geography. He then joined Mississippi State University where he attained his Master Of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences.
While in college, he served WAAY in Huntsville, Alabama as a meteorologist for 6 months. Before that, he served WVUA in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as a weather anchor. There, he anchored the 10 p.m. weather on Saturday and Sunday and filled in for the chief meteorologist.

Williams works for WCBI as the chief meteorologist. This serves as his second stint with the station, previously serving the station from 2014 to early 2017. He anchored the weather from 4:30 to 7:00 a.m. and Midday on WCBI at Noon during this time. Also, he anchored Sunrise on the CW from 7 to 7:30 a.m. In between his tenures at the station, he served WHNS in Greenville and KVEO-TV in Harlingen.
Williams holds a seal of certification from the National Weather Association. He was in Tuscaloosa during the dreadful April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak. In addition, he worked in Huntsville during the April 28, 2014 outbreak. Thus, he’s familiar with broadcasting harsh weather and knows the significance of broadcasting it accurately and calmly. Since August 2014, he has worked as an instructor at Mississippi State University. In this role, he instructs students in multiple courses in the Geosciences Department.
