James Brown is an American anchor and reporter working at WHIO-TV serving as the anchor of the 5 pm, 5:30 pm, 6 pm, and 11 pm newscasts. He has been working for the station since joining in 2002.

He previously worked for KTUU-TV where he served as an anchor from 2000 to 2002; WXOO-TV where he served as an anchor and reporter from March 1997 to April 2000. Prior to his tenure at WXII-TV, he had previously worked for WRDW-TV where he served as an anchor from 1994 to 1995.

Brown has also managed to win several awards ever since he started his journalism career. For instance, he won an Emmy award for his extensive report on his show, “Making A Difference.” Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
