Janice Rogers is an American Anchor/Reporter/Editor working with WRBC Fox 6 News where she serves the station as a News Anchor. She has been working with the station since joining the station in August of 1994.

Rogers works with WRBC Fox 6 News where she serves the station as a News Anchor. She states that she has been living her dreams working with FOX6 News. Rogers began her career in journalism working as an intern while in college at UAB where she obtained a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
She has also worked as an intern for the NBC Affiliate station. While there, she began her on-air career when Channel 13 hired her as a videotape editor and general assignment reporter. She was later promoted to East Alabama Bureau Chief and then to midday anchor before finally settling as a weekend anchor.
The month of August 1994 saw her join Channel 6 News and bring her original love for WBRC. At that time. not knowing that the station was being bought by FOX News Corp., she had no idea she was about to begin a brand-new morning show, which was eventually titled “Good Day Alabama.” She states that it has been such a blessing to join the station. Rogers and the Good Day crew do six hours of television in the morning. She co-anchors and produces segments for the show.
Rogers is originally from Jacksonville, Florida, and moved to the Birmingham area as a young teen. Janice attended McAdory High School in Jefferson County and was raised on a Farm in McCalla, a time she still considers some of the best years in her life. Her pride and joy has always been her son. She and her husband have a close family and family time are the most important moment for them. They also love their Golden Retriever and Boston Terrier(a rescue dog) very much.
She continues to have strong ties to the community. It is her commitment to work and family that has endeared Janice to thousands of loyal viewers as well as co-workers.
