Earlier, Jaron served as an ACC Network at ESPN from February 2021 to May 2022. During his time there, he was in charge of conducting interviews, producing news, and editing videos.
Before working at ESPN, Jaron spent three years and two months working at WAER as a sports talk desk. From there, he secured a position as a sports director and sports staff from January 2020 to May 2021. While there, he was responsible for covering Syracuse University men’s sports and interviewing players. Previously, Jaron served as an associate producer and reporter at Citrus-TV from December 2018 to May 2020. Later on, he accepted a position as an anchor from May 2020 to May 2022. While there, he was in charge of editing, writing, and delivering news.
In addition to working at Citrus-TV, May also worked at Orange Fizz as a staff writer before later being promoted to Audio director. For his outstanding work, he was honored with various awards such as the Jim Nantz Award First Team All-American in 2022. Prior to working for Orange Fizz, Jaron served as a play-by-play commentator at Syracuse Stallions from November 2018 to May 2022. Besides this, he also served as a content development and director where he edited videos and supervised media content.
Jaron started his career at WJPZ radio as a producer and radio personality from September 2018 to May 2019. After that, he landed a role as an assistant sports director before later serving as a sports staff. As a sports person, May was mainly in charge of covering stories, producing post-games, and editing videos. Besides this, he also worked as an intern at 98.5 The Sports Hub from June 2021 to August 2021. While still working at 98.5 The Sports Hub, May also appeared at NBA radio as an intern.
