Jason Sloss is an American journalist working for KUSI FOX 5 as an anchor and reporter since joining the station in January 2013. Previously, he worked for KESQ CBS Local 2/KUNA as a news anchor and reporter for 8 years.

Sloss joined Brigham Young University when he finished his high school education at Grossmont High School. He later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. While in college, he played baseball. However, things changed when his rotator told him his playing days were finished. Sloss gained the chance to return to Southern California with a job opportunity at the ABC affiliate in Palm Springs, KESQ, where he worked as a news anchor and reporter. For 8 years, he broadcasted everything including the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and natural crises.
Sloss’ unforgettable moments include broadcasting the funeral of former President Gerald Ford and interviewing former President Bill Clinton. He feels honored to have reported on the operations at the Marine Corps base in Twentynine Palms and talked face-to-face with a couple of generals and many service members, as some received medals for combat bravery.
