Jeh Jeh Pruitt is an American Anchor/Reporter working with WRBC FOX 6 News where he serves the station as a Sports Anchor/Reporter. He has been working with the station since April 1996. 

Jeh Jeh Pruitt Career

Pruitt works with WRBC Fox 6 News where he serves station as a Sports Anchor/Reporter where he first joined the station as an intern while he was a student in college. After his graduation from college, he moved west to work as a general assignment reporter at KWES-TV in Midland, Texas. He also worked in the “Lone Star State” for eight months before coming back to Birmingham and WBRC FOX6 News in April of 1996.

He began his career officially working as a news photographer and later within six months he began reporting. Jeh Jeh honed his skills while working at WBRC’s Anniston Bureau, but in January 1997 he was brought back to the Magic City to work with the Good Day Alabama team.

His reports can be seen every weekday morning and report on anything from the latest exercise craze to breaking news coverage. For him, sports have always been a part of Jeh Jeh’s life. He has also played football at Jacksonville State University as a running back. He was on the 1992 Division II National Championship team. Nowadays he gets his sports to fill working with the WBRC FOX6 Sports Team on FOX6 Sideline.

Asides from that, he also gives back to the community by working with children, speaking at schools, and being a mentor. Asides from that, he also emcees for non-profit organizations and companies. Together with his wife, they co-founded The Dannon Project, a project that obtained non-profit status in October 2013.

He states that the project was established to help persons in transition, especially those with addictions on the road to recovery, unemployed, underemployed, at-risk youth and adults, both male and female and specifically non-violent offenders reentering society. Asides from that, he is also involved with the Alabama Organ Center, inspiring others to help raise money and awareness of organ donation.
