Turnure works with KX News where she serves the station as a Washington Correspondent. Before joining KX News, she worked with KARK/Fox 16 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was privileged to be the statewide political correspondent and host of Capitol View, the Sunday morning political talk show.
In her career as a political correspondent, she has interviewed state, national, and international leaders. She has also reported on major political stories which include the 2018 elections, the state legislative sessions, and the state’s executions. Asides from that, she also covered visits by President Trump and Vice President Pence.
Prior to KARK-TV, she was working with KAIT Region 8 News in Jonesboro where she was serving the station as a reporter/anchor. She also worked as a reporter and anchor for KOMU in Columbia, Missouri, and interned with Thomson Reuters in Brussels, Belgium. The St. Louis native, Jesse is a proud graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism where she received a minor in Spanish.
