Jessica Brown is an American anchor and reporter working at WCVB-TV serving as the noon co-anchor alongside Antoinette Antonio. She has been working for the network since joining in August 2021.

Brown serves as the co-anchor of the WCVB Channel 5’s NewsCenter 5 at Noon alongside Antoinette Antonio as well as NewsCenter 5 at 4 PM with Maria Stephanos and Ed Harding. In addition to the roles he has at the station, he also serves as the medical reporter at NewsCenter 5. She previously worked for WXIX-TV in Cincinnati, OH where she served as a weekday morning anchor and lifestyle host. During her time at WXIX-TV, she enclosed several stories that hit the headlines all across the states and beyond. Some of them include the aftermath of George Floyd’s protests, the murder trial of Ray Tensing, and so much more.

Prior to her tenure at WXIX, she worked for KSNF-TV and KODE-TV in Joplin, MO where she served as an anchor as well as a reporter. While here, she enclosed the deadliest tornadoes in history. She started her journalism career at WAGA-TV in Atlanta, GA. where she served as an intern and broadcast meteorologist. In addition to that, she is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. She is also active when it comes to helping out in her community by volunteering and mentoring young girls.

Brown went to Florida State University where she attained her B.A. degree. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also enjoys trying out new restaurants and eateries, traveling, and going to the beach.
