Jessica Brown is an American journalist working for WCVB as a co-anchor of NewsCenter 5 at Noon with Antoinette Antonio and NewsCenter 5 at 4 p.m. with Ben Simmoneau, as well as an anchor of NewsCenter 5 at 12:30 p.m. In addition, she serves as the medical reporter for NewsCenter 5 and the host of CityLine on Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. She joined the station in August 2021, after working as a weekday morning anchor and lifestyle host at WXIX-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio.

While here, she broadcast the deadliest tornadoes in history and rode it out in her bathtub, eventually losing her apartment to the storm. She started her journalism career at WAGA-TV in Atlanta, Georgia, as an intern and broadcast meteorologist.
Besides her work on TV, Brown is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. She is very devoted to community service, maintaining the belief that service is one of the ways she feels connected to her faith. She has a passion for volunteering her time to mentor young girls.
