Jessica Nelson is an American journalist working for KTVH as a senior news director since joining the station in December 2023. Previously, she worked as a public information officer for the state of Montana.

Nelson joined Washington State University in 2008, when she finished her studies at Liberty Christian High School. In 2011, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in communications- broadcast News. There, she held other positions including reporter, producer, anchor, and live interview host. Besides journalism, Nelson is passionate about basketball and volunteering with local girls’ basketball teams in Helena. She also works as a board member of the Helena YMCA.
