Jordan Frazier Biography
Jordan Frazier is an American meteorologist working at KCWY 13 where he serves as a weekend meteorologist. He joined the KCWY 13 team in July 2022, after previously working at KGWN where he served as a meteorologist.
His love and interest in weather began in 2004 and 2005 when he experienced active hurricane season in Florida. At that time, he learned the importance of getting out accurate information to the public as fast as possible and discovered the destructive power of large weather systems. Later on, he joined Florida State University where he studied meteorology, and completed his studies at the University of South Florida where he earned a degree in Mass Communication with and concentration in Broadcast News.
Later on, Frazier began his weather career at KGWN in Cheyenne, Wyoming where he served as an evening weekday meteorologist. While he worked in Wyoming, he covered cover everything from hurricane-force winds to blizzards to hails to tornadoes. In addition, he got the opportunity to do live weather at Cheyenne Frontier Days which is the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration. In 2022, the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters awarded him a first place as the best meteorologist in the state.
