While growing up, Helmuth knew he wanted to go somewhere warm. After high school, he attended and graduated from the University of Alabama. He graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. Helmuth’s career has taken him from Tuscaloosa Alabama to Los Angeles, Bakersfield California, Kansas City, and St.Louis, ranging from news to sports, earning several awards in the process. He is now incredibly happy to be living and working in the slice of Heaven known as Colorado Springs.
