Juliet Dragos is an American journalist working for WZZM as a weeknight anchor since joining the station in April 1991. She has served the station for more than 3 decades. Since January 2013, she has served on the board of chair of the Special Olympics Michigan.

Dragos has worked as an MC and honorary chair of “Race for the Cure” for nearly two decades. Since January 2013, she has served on the board of chair of the Special Olympics Michigan. She is very passionate about her work there and worked on its board of directors for five years.
Dragos has been the MC of the emcee of the State Summer Games in Mt. Pleasant for over 2 decades. Also, she is a volunteer at events of Special Olympics Michigan all over the state. She has also been on the board of directors of the American Red Cross Blood Services Division, Great Lakes Region.
Dragos is involved with Catholic Charities West Michigan, the Brain Injury Association of Michigan, Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan, and the American Cancer Society’s “Relay For Life.” She won an Emmy nomination for her work as a news anchor in 2013.
In 2013, Dragos served as an inductee of the “Silver Circle” of the “National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.” She was also inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame at her high school in Western Pennsylvania in 2009.
In recognition of her work helping other women, Dragos earned a nomination for the Athena Award. The American Women in Radio and Television awarded her its “Professionalism Award.” Twice, she won the “Outstanding Media Award” from Special Olympics Michigan.
Grand Rapids Komen for the Cure gave her the Local Hero Award. Further, she won an award from the “Brain Injury Association of Michigan” for her volunteer work in bringing awareness to families and patients impacted by brain injuries. She has been named in publications of the “Outstanding Young Women of America” and “Who’s Who.”
