Justin Kollar Biography
Justin Kollar is an American newscaster working with WXIN-TV, FOX59 News team as a reporter. He joined the station in April 2021 and is also a traffic anchor at WXIN/WTTV.
Justin Kollar Education
Kollar attended Western Michigan Christian High School, where he gained a high school diploma. He then joined Olivet Nazarene University where he studied from 2013 to 2015 and graduated with a degree in Journalism. There he took part as a staff writer for the school paper, track and field athlete, and Bible study leader. He then joined the University of Missouri-Columbia, from 2015 to 2018, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

From May 2017 to September 2017, Kollar became a News Intern at WOOD TV8 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He joined KOMU-TV, in Columbia, Missouri Area in September as a reporter and analyst, where he served until March 2016. From October 2015 to May 2018, he worked as a reporter and anchor for the same station. In May 2018, he joined WOOD TV8 in the Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan Area as a Digital Producer and Live Desk Reporter until April 2021. From February 2019 to April 2021, he became a reporter in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2020, he received an Edward R. Murrow Award for covering the story of the crazy riots.
WXIN-TV Fox 59 and WXIN/WTTV
From April 2021 to the present he has served as a reporter for WXIN-TV Fox 59 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also joined WXIN/WTTV in Indianapolis, Indiana from March 2022 to the present as a traffic anchor.
