Kai Reed is an American reporter and anchor working for WBAL-TV 11News. She joined WBAL-TV 11 News as a general assignment reporter in July 2010.

Reed serves as the anchor of weekend evening newscasts at WBAL-TV 11 News. She started serving as the weekend evening anchor in 2014. She previously worked for WISN-TV, WBAL-TV’s sister station in Milwaukee where she served as a reporter for the week’s newscasts. Prior to her time at WISN-TV, she served at WKOW-TV in Madison, Wis. where she served as the weekend evening news. She left the station and joined WISN in August 2004 where she served as an anchor and reporter.
Reed has also held several news production roles at WBBM-TV and WLS-TV in Chicago, and NBC News at the London Bureau. She went to the University of Missouri-Columbia where she attained her degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. In addition to this, she is also an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). She is also very active when it comes to helping the people of her community and has also spent some time serving as a keynote speaker and emcee for quite a number of organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club.
