Kari Hall is an American Meteorologist working with NBC Bay Area News in San Jose, California where she serves the station as a Morning Meteorologist for Today in The Bay. She has been working with the station since May 2015.

Kari states that it is there that her love for the weather began at a very early age. She wanted to learn about snowstorms, tornadoes, and droughts.
She kick-started her career working with KATC in Lafayette, Los Angeles where she was covering severe weather. This includes Hurricanes Gustav, Katrina, and Rita. Later on, after spending about six years in Louisiana, she moved back to her home state of Kentucky where she was working as the weekend meteorologist for WKYT in Lexington. there, she was frequently covering snowstorms and tornadoes.
She has also previously worked with News 12 in Connecticut where she was serving the station as a Chief Meteorologist for about two years. Hall is a proud graduate of Mississippi State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in geoscience with an emphasis in Broadcast Meteorology. She is a proud member of the American Meteorological Society and has a seal of approval from the National Weather Association.
