Katelyn Davis Biography
Katelyn Davis is an American journalist who previously worked for WWTV as a weekend anchor and weekday reporter. She joined the station in June 2023 and left the station in April 2024. Previously, she held an internship at WORT Radio as a weather reporter and producer.

Davis joined McHenry County College in 2020 when she finished her high school education at Johnsburg High School. In May 2021, she graduated with an Associate Of Science degree in Broadcasting and Meteorology. While there, she wrote for “The Tartan” newspaper. Also, she was GM of the MCC Newscast semester program and Head of the MCC Weather Office.
After receiving her Associate’s degree, she joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison in September 2021. In May 2023, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Radio, Film, and Polish. Also, she attained a certificate in East Central European Languages, Literature, and Cultures with an emphasis on Polish.
During her time at UW-Madison, she volunteered at WORT Radio for almost two years. Later, she served the radio station as an intern writing and producing the weather weekly. Also, she worked as an intern at “News 3 Now!” as a news and sports reporter. In addition, she served ESPN during the BIG10 football season. When she was free, she wrote for FanSided Orlando Magic Daily.

Davis worked for WWTV as a weekend anchor and weekday reporter. On weekends, she produced and edited WWTV’s 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts and anchored both shows. She also filled in on “The Four” and “Michigan This Morning.” She also occasionally reported for lifestyle. Before joining college, she worked as an editor-in-chief at Johnsburg High School. Her experience there sparked her interest in reporting. She later discovered her passion for journalism, storytelling, and broadcasting.
