Katey Roshetko is an American journalist working for KOLO as the 9 a.m. morning show anchor and producer since joining the station in November 2021. Previously, she worked for WDBJ7 as a reporter and anchor.

Roshetko joined Liberty University in 2010 after she had finished high school. In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. She furthered her education there, graduating with a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications in 2016.

Roshetko works for KOLO as the 9 a.m. morning show anchor and producer. The military BRAT had never lived in one place for longer than 3 years until she joined college in Southwest Virginia for six. After graduating college, she worked as a morning producer in Quincy, Illinois before returning to the Commonwealth to work at WDBJ7.
Roshetko worked at WDBJ7 for five years, working her way up the ranks starting as a producer, to a reporter, and eventually an anchor. She decided to move west largely because of her family who live in Sacramento and Spokane.
During her career, she has won multiple awards including the 2020 Virginia Association of Broadcasting Best Investigative Reporting Award. She won that award for her thorough investigation into Virginia’s unemployment issues in the wake of the pandemic.
